Privacy and saved data

Removing the app, clearing this site’s browser data, or automatic browser cleanup can erase that local copy. Download a backup regularly and keep it somewhere you control. Restore merges a backup with items already on the device.

The site host may keep ordinary technical access logs, but the reader does not include saved-note content in those requests.

The complete public-domain King James Version is included as a readable, searchable book and works offline after the library is saved.

Original-language word forms, morphology, brief lexicons, and concordance links are adapted from STEP Bible Data, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Classic Strong’s definitions and Treasury of Scripture Knowledge cross-references come from public-domain CrossWire modules.

All definitions, word links, and cross-references are study aids. They are displayed separately and are not part of the biblical text.

Getting started

How to use the BOC Study Library

Everything you save stays private on this device. These short guides cover the main study tools.

Read, browse, and search

Choose a book from the menu, then browse its contents or search across every book. For a multi-word search, exact phrase results appear first, followed by meaningful individual-word results; common connector words are not expanded on their own. Open a result at its exact finding, then use the match counter and arrow buttons above the text to visit every occurrence in that section. Search filters can narrow results to book text, study resources, notes, highlights, bookmarks, references, or a shared topic.

Compare with study tabs

Use the + beside the tabs to keep another paper or Bible chapter open. Select any tab to switch between your study places, and use its × to close it.

Highlight, add notes, and make references

Select words in a paper or Bible chapter. Partial-word selections automatically expand to complete words when you highlight, add a note, bookmark, or create a reference. The study bar appears near the top of the screen with Highlight, Note, Bookmark, Reference, and Copy. Tap an existing highlight to change its color, add a note, copy it, or remove it. Tap a note marker—or use its three-dot menu in My Study—to edit, copy, reference, or delete that note. A reference can connect one saved passage to another paper, note, bookmark, or Bible passage. Choose the Bible book, chapter, and verse from the lists; a ↗ marker appears at both ends so you can move either direction.

Organize bookmarks and topics

Select a passage and choose Bookmark in the study bar to save that exact text. To save the current reading position without selecting text, choose Bookmark current place under My Study in the menu. Give each bookmark a useful title and add topics so related notes, highlights, references, and bookmarks can be found together.

Study words and cross-references

In the KJV, tap a verse number to see its original-language word stream and Treasury of Scripture Knowledge cross-references. Tap an original word for its Strong’s number, STEP brief lexicon, classic Strong’s definition, grammar, KJV rendering breakdown, and Scripture occurrences. Every reference opens the exact verse, and the study resources can also be found with global search.

Install, use offline, and protect your work

Choose Install on this device on the Home page or in Saved to add the reader to a phone or tablet home screen, or install it on a computer. Open Saved to store the complete library for offline use. Download a backup regularly—especially before clearing browser data or changing devices. On the new device, choose Restore from a backup; existing and restored items are safely merged.

About this library

BOC Study Library

Created for the Body of Christ community, this library preserves the Gospel of the Kingdom Papers and brings them together with the King James Bible and private study tools.

King James Bible

The reader includes the 1769 King James Version text for reading, searching, linking, and offline study.

Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek study data

Word forms, transliterations, morphology, brief lexicons, and the original-language word stream are adapted from STEP Bible Data, created by STEPBible.org based on work at Tyndale House Cambridge and licensed under CC BY 4.0.

KJV Strong’s links and renderings

The links between KJV words and Strong’s numbers—and the “Rendered in the KJV as” counts—come from the CrossWire Bible Society KJV 3.1 source. CrossWire grants general permission to use its KJV2003 work for any purpose; its module also carries GPL distribution metadata.

Strong’s Bible Dictionary

The classic 1890 Greek and Hebrew definitions come from CrossWire’s Strong’s Greek and Strong’s Hebrew modules. CrossWire identifies both as public domain.

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Verse-linked topical references come from CrossWire’s public-domain Treasury of Scripture Knowledge module, a historical collection of parallel passages by Canne, Browne, Blayney, Scott, and others.

Definitions, word links, and historical study resources are aids for study. Context remains essential, and commentary should not be treated as part of the biblical text.
